The results are in! This year’s Saint Ann’s Mock Newbery Medal goes to Better Nate Than Ever by Tim Federle! This hilarious novel follows 13-year-old Nate as he sneaks to NYC from small town Pennsylvania to try out for ET on Broadway. Stay tuned for a visit by the author this spring, open to all. Our Mock Newbery Honor books were Counting by 7s by Holly Goldberg Sloan,Rump by Liesl Shurtliff, and A Song for Bijou by Josh Farrar (also coming to Saint Ann’s this spring to read to our 6th grade!). Congratulations to the 34 fourth, fifth, and sixth graders who have collectively read almost 200 books (39 different titles) since September!
