Welcoming Clifford Thomas ’01 to the Board of Trustees

Saint Ann’s School has elected Clifford Thomas ’01 as its newest member. Cliff came to Saint Ann’s in seventh grade through the Prep for Prep program, and graduated from Saint Ann’s in 2001. After graduating from Harvard College in 2005 he taught science in the New York City public schools. He received a master’s degree from Pace University in Secondary Education and Teaching. In 2010 he founded Invictus Preparatory Charter School, a college prep middle school located in East New York, Brooklyn. Since April 2014, he has been the New York City Program Manager for The Fellowship Initiative at JP Morgan Chase, “an organization that enrolls young men of color in a comprehensive hands-on enrichment program that includes academic, social and emotional support.”

Cliff has returned to Saint Ann’s on numerous occasions since his graduation. He has served on several panels including one on education for Alumni Day in 2010 and on diversity for High School students last year.

We are delighted that Cliff has agreed to join us.
