Eighth Grader is Finalist in Games for Change Student Challenge

Eighth grader Jia M. recently had her game ‘‘Resilience Through Self-Care’ selected as a Finalist in two categories—Game Accessibility Challenge and the National Challenge—of the 2021 G4C Student Challenge. The Games for Change (G4C) Student Challenge is a national game design program that invites students to create digital games about issues impacting their communities. As a finalist, Jia’s game will be featured in the G4C Student Arcade, an online arcade which will live on the Student Challenge website and feature all of the 2021 competition Finalist games. Her accomplishment was celebrated at the virtual G4C Student Challenge Awards Ceremony on June 17. Congratulations Jia!
