Parents who are interested are welcome to schedule a tour at any point in the process by visiting our online tour registration page. Please be aware tours tend to fill up quickly.
Where do I go for my Lower School tour?
The Lower School tours start in our Kindergarten building at 124 Henry Street between Clark St. and Pierrepont St.
What happens if I submit an application for K after the process is closed?
For parents who submit an application after we run out of interview slots but before the application deadline, their application will go into a wait pool. We do not collect fees for these applications unless something opens up and we’re able to schedule an interview. In the past we have not been able to schedule interviews for many people from this pool.
How do I schedule my child for an interview?
We will call parents to schedule their child’s interview. This can take up to a month from the date the application was submitted.
What happens during the interview?
The child will meet one on one with a member of the Admissions team for about 45 minutes. He/she will engage in a series of activities and questions that often proves enjoyable for four- and five-year-olds. Interview rooms adjoin a waiting area so parents will be only a few steps away.
Is there a parent interview?
There is no formal parent interview and both parents aren’t required to attend. At the end of each child’s interview, there will be an opportunity to chat with the interviewer to receive feedback and ask questions while the child plays in the waiting room.
Is the ERB required?
We do not require OR accept the ERB for Kindergarten and 1st grade applicants.
