Asiya Wadud is an acclaimed poet who teaches poetry across divisions at Saint Ann’s. She joined the Saint Ann’s community as a lower school associate teacher in 2016 and began teaching poetry full time in 2018. Asiya is the author of several books of poetry, including Crosslight for Youngbird, day pulls down the sky/ a filament in gold leaf (written with Okwui Okpokwasili), Syncope, and most recently, No Knowledge Is Complete Until It Passes Through My Body.
