Chinyere attended Saint Ann’s from Kindergarten through twelfth grade. She is a Group Leader at World 50 Group, where she builds and leads a peer community of senior executives from global companies. A sociologist by training, her scholarship examines how social class and culture shape the reproduction of power within elite American institutions. Earlier in her career, Chinyere was an English teacher, sports coach, and dorm parent at Deerfield Academy. She holds a B.A. from Swarthmore College, an M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. from UC Berkeley, and a Ph.D. from Brown University. Chinyere joined the Board in 2020.
