Overview
After School at Saint Ann’s is full of games, making, friendship, and fun. Children craft, explore board games, have dance parties, play, and create together. There is a quiet space for homework to happen for students in 2nd-5th grade. Children can choose their old favorites, learn a new skill or craft, make new friends and discover new passions.
Our After School Program is open to Saint Ann’s students enrolled in Kindergarten through fifth grade. Our programming runs from 2:35-5:30 p.m. everyday school is in session (there is a pick up grace period until 5:45 p.m.). Please note, there is no After School programming for Preschoolers. There is no after school on the day before Thanksgiving Break or Winter Break.
Workshops and Specialties
We have a weekly After School Specialty schedule and any student attending for the day is welcome to attend any Specialty class in their division. Past Specialties have included: Cooking; Weaving; Theater Games; Soccer; Gymnastics; Collage; and Upcycled Design. The Specialty classes are designed and taught by our After School teaching team and the schedule is shared at the start of the semester and is subject to change. Workshops are classes that run once a week for six weeks and pre-registration is required. Past Workshops have included: Ceramics; Clay Animals; Knitting; Pom-Pom Craft; Fairy House Making; Miniature Interiors; Fermentation and Cooking Lab; Sketch Comedy; Introduction to the Art of Magic; and also many in music, printmaking and the visual arts. The Workshops are described in detail including the meeting days and times before registration opens.
Fees
We have different attendance options that range from one to five days a week. There is a drop-in rate of $65/day which will be billed monthly. The upfront fees are listed below and reflect the full fall semester fee:
5 days per week $ 2,800
4 days per week $ 2,500
3 days per week $ 2,100
2 days per week $ 1,600
1 day per week $ 1,000
The After School Program will follow any school COVID-related guidelines and protocols that may be in place this fall.
