Resources: How to Download eBooks from the Saint Ann’s Digital Library

All Saint Ann’s faculty, staff, and students can check out eBooks and audiobooks from the Saint Ann’s Digital Library. This is totally free. All you need is your library card number and PIN. You can check out eBooks using a Kindle or Kindle app, or using the OverDrive app or the Sora app. All of the apps are free. With the Kindle app, you choose and download a book using a computer, then read it on your chosen device. With the OverDrive and Sora apps you can browse, download, and read on a digital device without using a computer.

Students
Your library card number is simply your student ID number (found on your student ID card or at the library) with an “S” in front. Your PIN is your first and last initial, lower case, followed by this same ID number. So, if your name is Eleanor Roosevelt and your student ID number is 18840, your library card number is S18840 and your PIN is er18840.

Faculty and Staff
Your library card number is your Saint Ann’s ID number (found on your school ID card or at the library) with “FAC” in front. Your PIN is your first and last initial, lower case, followed by this same ID number. So, if your name is Eleanor Roosevelt and your faculty ID number is 18840, your library card number is FAC18840 and your PIN is er18840.

Note
You can also retrieve your library card number and PIN by logging in to Veracross. There is a URL at the top of your Veracross page. At the end of the URL, there is a series of numbers. To generate your library card number, take the numbers at the end of the URL and add the letter S to the front of them if you are a student. Put an FAC in front of them if you are a faculty member. Your PIN consists of your initials (lowercase) followed by that same series of numbers.
